Tag Me
We caught the beginning of the news the other night. Isaac was still up to witness it. There was a little 3 year old boy who got lost in Cuiver River State Park, following his dog from his home. The boy was found safe & sound, maybe a little cold, but in good spirits. Isaac was very concerned. We talked to him about staying close to home, not running off, following Howie, etc. As I was putting him to bed, and we were saying our prayers, he said "maybe you should put a tag on me. Yeah." I said "A tag, huh?" It made perfect sense to him and he kind of acted like it should have been done already. Such a smart sweet boy. The irony is, I followed my dogs as a toddler several times. Once I was found walking across a bridge at the age of, oh, I think the storytellers say 2 years old. My Dad found me. How did he not have a heart attack?

I am trying to get Isaac to pull his underpants up by himself after going potty. He usually throws a gigantic fit, screaming "I can't get them over my big ol' booty!" Tonight I told him that he is a big boy and doesn't need his mommy pulling his undies up all the time, and this week we are going to concentrate on him doing it all by himself. He simply told me "I don't have time for this."
